Why integrative touch therapy?
Your body is always in the present moment, as it is impossible for it to be anywhere else. Touch brings your attention to the body, bringing you into the present moment and connecting you with your current experience. From this place of connection, we will use touch, presence, active questioning, imagery, and dialogue to create the life you desire. Through this process you learn mindful presence, what you value, and the ability to be present with intense experiences in a new way, which allows for new behavior that opens the realms of possibility and change.
I believe we are each a unique, amazing, complex mix of creative possibility, unfolding into ever greater expression within the inter-relational web of life. Yes, we need solo mindfulness practice to explore our inner world, yet we are relational beings who must also explore how our relationships in all areas impact the expression of our unique nature, in order fulfill our greatest potential. We can do this through integrative touch therapy. Touch is a conversation between two people, information being received through our hands informing the connection made by our hands. Listening deeply, from a place of acceptance I witness your unfolding and reflect back the beauty and promise you embody.
